Line of Business Scorecard
Purpose
The purpose of the
Line of Business Scorecard is to show
key information on lines of business, focusing
on cash receipts, billing,
and billable hours.
Navigation
To navigate to the Line of Business
Scorecard, select Firm (1) from the list of pages on the left side of your screen. Once you are in the Firm page, you can use the buttons along the bottom (2) to switch between firm- focused
reports. LOB Scorecard is the fourth of these buttons.
Cards
There are four cards (3)
at the
top of
the report. They show cash receipts, the invoiced amount by
client, effective rate, and billable hours.
You will notice
that the cards
on the LOB Scorecard are different than those on some other
reports. They include indicator arrows to quickly
show if the numbers are up or down from the prior
year. The cash receipts
card will also show current
year performance against
the budget if the cash receipts budget
has been provided.
Filters
The filters can
always be
found on
the left side of
your screen (4). Filters will vary by firm, so yours may not match exactly what
is shown in this demo.
Visuals
Cash Receipts
vs Goal (5): shows cash receipts by month and compares it to
the cash receipts budget
(if provided). By hovering
your mouse over the visual,
you can click on the arrow that appears on the right side of the
visual to show the data in different views.
Billed Net
(6): the
current year and prior year net
billings.
Billable Hours (7): shows the current year and prior year billable hours.
Clients (8): shows the
net billings, effective rate, and write up or
down for
each client.
Drill Throughs
Note: not all
clients use
every page, so some lines in
the drill through charts may not
apply to
you.
