New Clients
Purpose
New Clients is
built around the Client Acquisition date in your practice management system and is designed to
provide insight into new clients brought into your firm within your date range.
Navigation
To navigate to New
Clients, select Clients
(1) from the list of
pages on the left side of your
screen. Once you are in the Clients section,
you can use the buttons along the bottom (2) to
switch between client-focused dashboards. New Clients is the third of these
buttons.
Cards
There are three comparative cards (3) at the top of the
dashboard. They show current year
values and the percent change from the prior year in
the Budgeted Amount, Billed Net (P), and Cash Receipts.
Visuals
The visuals are controlled by the Display and Display By
sections on the left side of the screen (4). Use Display to indicate what information you’d like to see:
Budgets, Billed Net, or Cash Receipts for clients
acquired within your date range. Use Display By to indicate what client-based
field you would like the information displayed by.
After making your selections on the left side of the screen, you can see summary information for your selections in the visuals.
To see detailed
information, select Detail
(5) on the far-right side of the page. This will then show the same information, broken
down by month for the current year and prior year.
In this Detail section you can drill down into
hierarchies to see the information by client. Note that the numbers will display
in the month the client was
acquired and will display the sum of the activity for that client in the year they were
acquired. In the example below, we
are looking at Billed Net (P) by Primary Partner for clients acquired in 2020. The 98,005 displayed for Client 12173,
assigned to Partner 7 (6) means that the client was acquired in January of
2020, and was billed $98,005 within that year.
